FRIENDS OF CONWY MUSIC

‘Friends of Conwy Music’ is a charity, whose aim is to improve the musical education of young people in Conwy County Borough. The wish of members is to provide financial assistance and support for inter-schools music activities, which are not normally provided by Conwy Borough Council, for young people, up to the age of 21, who are still in full time education.

In order to achieve this we aim to encourage interest in Conwy youth music amongst the general public. We raise funds by means of donations, collections, raffles, lotteries, grants etc. We work with county officers and other ‘Friends’ societies in North Wales to enable the youth within Conwy County to interact with the youth of the other 5 counties to promote joint music activities. Support is also given to the youth within Conwy County to encourage national and international relations through the medium of music.

Membership of ‘Friends of Conwy Music’ is open to all members of the public on payment of the appropriate subscription.
